Crown Equipment Corp. is a family-owned US company founded in 1945. The majority of its revenue is from electric lift trucks sales throughout the world. Its heavy-duty lift trucks are used for a variety of purposes, especially for moving goods through the narrow aisles of warehouses.

CEC has its main headquarters in Ohio, US. However, other corporate offices are in Munich Germany; Sydney, Australia; and Suzhou, China. In 2008, Crown became the first major lift truck manufacturer to use the internet to conduct sales.
